During the design process, Novague paid meticulous attention to detail, resulting in a product that stands out in the world of office furniture. The Smart desk boasts several unique and sophisticated features, making it a standout choice for modern offices.

One of the standout features of The Smart desk is its smart wiring system. Magnetic surfaces are cleverly placed on the wooden metal paneling, allowing for a clean and organized workspace. Cables from your computer can be easily pressed onto the table construction, making them almost invisible. This innovative feature not only enhances the desk's aesthetic appeal but also eliminates the hassle of tangled cables.

In addition to the smart wiring system, The Smart desk also incorporates a hook system on its metal construction. This system allows users to hang various accessories, such as a waste bin, organizer, pocket for small items, and even a hanger for purses or handbags. These thoughtful additions ensure that everything you need is within reach, keeping your workspace tidy and efficient.

The Smart desk is constructed with a combination of metal and various types of wood. The base construction is made from durable metal, providing stability and longevity. The desk itself is available in different wood options, with the option of a plastic desk as well. The plastic cover inside the legs is specifically designed to accommodate the magnetic panels, ensuring a seamless and functional design.

With dimensions of 700mm x 800mm x 1600mm and weighing 50 kg, The Smart desk is suitable for both single-unit placement and multiple-unit combinations. Its versatility allows it to seamlessly integrate into any modern office environment.

The Smart series of office desks was developed as a collaboration between Petr Novague and Cesky nabytek a.s., a renowned furniture manufacturer. The project, which took place from October 2017 to January 2018 in Pelhřimov, Czech Republic, aimed to bring innovation and practicality to the world of office furniture.

This exceptional design has been recognized with the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category in 2018. This award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The Smart desk's integration of industry best practices, competent technical characteristics, and contribution to a better world made it a deserving recipient of this accolade.
